To help fight the COVID 19 Global pandemic, Craig & Derricott are manufacturing a number of Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) units to ensure vital power is maintained to AstraZeneca’s new research and development centre in Cambridge. These ATS units are being assembled within our new socially distanced assembly & testing facility to support the ever-growing demand to maintain critical power for life safety systems.
An Automatic Transfer Switch is crucial to keeping a building running smoothly and ensuring there is a resilient power supply to the building or to specific equipment. Whether it is to ensure people’s safety in work or public space, or to maintain essential supplies to a vital process, an ATS automatically operates the transition from the primary to the secondary power supply in the event of the loss of the primary supply to the building.
Our ATS experts are working tirelessly to get the ATS systems required, finished and delivered to AstraZeneca, and we are very pleased to be doing our little bit to support the country. Craig & Derricott are proud to be supplying them our ATS equipment at this time of global pandemic, as we, like the rest of the country, are determined to beat this virus.
