Switchgear Accessories

Craig & Derricott provide a wide variety of  Switchgear Accessories that go alongside our expansive i-switch range. Our accessories can be brought separately or along with the designated product. We aim to make the Switchgear Accessories so that the process is as simple as possible for the customer purchasing a product from us and there are different uses for each of the accessories listed.

External feet fixings are for the product to be fitted externally rather than internally in the box. External feel fixings come in a grade 304 stainless steel and can be fitted on our stainless steel and sheet steel enclosures up to 63 Amps.

Add-on auxiliary blocks are available for all hinged door products. All auxiliaries are supplied as 1 N/O+1 N/C pair. All N/O auxiliary contacts are early break with respect to the main poles when switching from ‘On’ to ‘Off’.

All of the Fuse Combination Units are supplied fitted with a set of fully rated IEC/BS EN 60269 (BS88) fuse links. Replacements can be supplied as individual fuse links and can be fitted to a lower rating to suit a particular load: please refer to the rating table below to maintain the correct size/tag format.

Terminal protection is provided on all items for live incoming terminals; spare terminal covers are available for replacement or extending the protection to the outgoing terminals. (Not available for 800A & 1000A switch-disconnectors.)

Extended and Alternative shafts can be fitted on our panel isolators. The extended shafts as a standard are 100mm in length and can be easily adjusted to suit specific panel depths. Alternative shafts as a standard come with a 200mm or 400mm shaft length and can be adjusted by passing the shaft through a bush in the switch mechanism then locking it in position.

Designed to compliment the handles used on our enclosed equipment, the door interlocked versions are capable of being locked with up to three individual padlocks (Ø6.4 max shackle dia). All handles are sealed to IP65 which will enable installations in a wide variety of environmental conditions.
