ATS Warranty Statement

Warranty Cover
In addition to the Craig & Derricott Ltd (C&D) General Terms & Conditions of Sale (Clauses 9 and 10), the following additional terms apply to all Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) warranties: –

1. The warranty term on all C&D ATS shall be one year (12 months) full manufacturer’s warranty from the date of invoice.
2. Where C&D have carried out the ATS commissioning, the warranty shall be extended by 2 years from the commissioning date (providing this date is within 12 months of the date of the original invoice).
3. If an issue has occurred with the product, C&D must be notified (email preferred) of the serial number and the catalogue number of the ATS in question, these can be found on the product rating label.
4. C&D will require a covering Purchase Order from the customer prior to the site visit, only to be used in the event clause 5 below. Where a site visit is required or requested, this will normally be arranged within 7 working days from receipt of the Purchase Order.
5. Should a site visit determine that there is no fault found or that the fault was not the result of a C&D design, material or workmanship defect, a technical report will be provided, and the site visit will be invoiced at the rate of £924 per day.
6. C&D shall have no liability under the warranty: in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow C&D’s instructions (whether oral or in writing), misuse or alteration or repair of the Goods without C&D’s approval, or for any Goods manufactured or appropriated to the Contract in accordance with any design, specification, instruction or recommendation made to C&D by the Customer, including the provision of inaccurate, ambiguous or incomplete information provided by the Customer.
