Craig & Derricott now offer a collection of PV (AC & DC) switch-disconnectors bundles, specifically designed to meet the unique requirements of Solar Panel technology.
Solar power is an environmentally friendly method of producing electricity and is achieved using Photovoltaic (PV) cells that capture sunlight and convert it into electricity. Once installed an array will continuously generate voltage and current in daylight and it is therefore essential to isolate the array in the event of a fault or for maintenance purposes.
The bundle range offers a package deal on a DC and AC variant both supplied in moulded plastic IP65 enclosures. Options available:
- EPV162/BUNDLE – includes EPV162 + EDKP252
- EPV252/BUNDLE – includes EPV25 + EDKP252
- PVP1622/BUNDLE – includes PVP1622 + EDP402
- PVP2522/BUNDLE – includes PVP2522 + EDP402
All units have a padlockable handle which allow for the insertion of up to three padlocks in the ‘Off’ position thus preventing the isolator being switched to the ‘On’ position.
