Aaron has recently joined the Craig & Derricott team as a Digital Marketing Assistant.
Originally from Long Eaton, Nottingham, he left school to pursue a career in IT and underwent an apprenticeship in which he gained multiple qualifications, but due to the state of the IT Industry during the early 2010’s Aaron moved into the Construction Industry in 2014 to work alongside side his Dad as a Labourer. During his 6 years in the industry, Aaron worked his way up to Site Assistant working for Radleigh Homes (later bought by Redrow) and then Tanbry Construction.
Fast forward to 2021, Aaron was faced with a tough decision to make as the toll of COVID-19 left the Construction Industry slowing down and resulted in Aaron out of work. During this time he decided to hit the reset button on his career and go down a new path, Digital Marketing. Aaron then pursued a second Apprenticeship with as a Digital Marketer through training provider AltHaus Digital, where he joined the Hire Supply Company marketing team. A B2B company specialising in supplying Tool Hire companies and builders’ merchants. He finished his Apprenticeship with the highest marks achievable and even finished months ahead of the schedule finish date. During his 2 years with HSC, Aaron moved to Wednesbury, West Midlands to move in with his now fiancé and leaving the company in early 2023.
Aaron has many interests, such as running his own content creation brand which revolves around: photography, video games and consumer tech. All this is self taught, which eventually led him to making it his career in Digital Marketing. He enjoys travelling and exploring anywhere he can take his camera.
