We are proud to announce the launch of our latest product range: Mercia EDMP Moulded Plastic Isolators. Available beginning of April, this range of enclosed isolation equipment is designed to be reliable and versatile while being competitively priced, making it an ideal solution for the industrial market.
The range is supplied in a light grey moulded plastic enclosure, providing durability and protection. With a sealing up to IP66, it is enclosed to prevent dust, water, and other contaminants from entering, making it are suitable for use in a variety of environments.
One of the key features is its 3-in-1 switch capability. Offered in ratings 25A to 63A, each unit is supplied as 4P which can be utilized for 2P, 3P, and 4P requirements, providing flexibility and convenience for the end user.
Safety is a top priority for us, which is why all four variants of the range come with our red safety handle. This allows for the insertion of up to three padlocks in the ‘Off’ position, preventing the isolator from being switched to the ‘On’ position. Additionally, all units are interlocked in the ‘On’ position, so the lid cannot be removed when padlocked in the ‘Off’ position. For added security, a lockable option in the ‘On’ position is also available upon request.
When it comes to installation, the EDMP offers quick and easy cabling. The internal switch can be removed from the built-in din rail in our spacious enclosure, making it simple to connect the cables. The units also come with four external fixing holes, ensuring secure and quick mounting.
All units are compliant with IEC/BS EN 60947-3 standards. This ensures that our products meet the highest quality and safety standards for the industrial market. With its versatile 3-in-1 switch capability, robust construction, this range offers a reliable and cost-effective solution for various applications.
