Passenger Communication Panels
Passenger Communication Panels are designed for [assengers to contact the driver/guard has moved on considerably since the days of the ‘pull chain’. Upon activation of the momentary pushbutton head or grab-handle, the driver receives a signal that remains activated until they are in a position to acknowledge and take suitable action.
Most of the panels these days allow for audio communications but Craig & Derricott has been making audio and non-audio devices for many years. With the introduction of ‘Disable Access’ regulations additional ‘call for aid’ alarms will be required by vehicle builders.
The Passenger Communication Panels are designed specifically for use from a seated wheelchair position, which is mounted in the passenger saloon car. It can be colour coordinated to complement train operators’ interior design schemes. Craig & Derricott has experience in the design and manufacture of such items. All products are compliant with ‘PRM TSI’ regulations.
