For the first time, British manufacturers Craig & Derricott (C&D) exhibited at the Railway Interiors Expo from 4th – 5th November 2015 held at the Letnany Exhibition Centre in Prague.
The show demonstrated the highlight of C&D’s range of LED lighting with the 600mm,1200mm and 1500mm LED tube lights on display on the C&D stand. The range of LED tube lights have a design life of more than 50,000 hours compared to up to 10,000 hours with conventional fluorescent tubes. LED light output degrades over time at a slower speed than fluorescent and do not flicker. Designed so that the tubes fit into existing tube fittings without any changes to wiring or panels has made installation and maintenance safer and easier.
Alongside the LED tube lights, C&D also took the opportunity to showcase their existing range of 30 Series Pushbuttons, Emergency Grabhandles, Driver Key-Switches and Passenger Access and Communication Panels. The show was a great success and has generated some good leads to grow the railway business around the world.
