Owing to the massive and rapid increase in Nickel prices, trading for this commodity has been halted on the London Metal Exchange – this directly effects Stainless-Steel production and the supply of all Stainless-Steel products, including enclosures.
At this stage it is not known to what extent and how this situation will impact the sheet Stainless-Steel market. However, the sanctions against Russia have triggered fears of shortages, pushing prices higher.
PLEASE NOTE: As a result of this situation, all enquires that require Stainless-Steel enclosures will now be POA with costs and lead times being confirmed at the point the sales order is placed.
