Craig & Derricott have a job opportunity to join our Team as Area Sales Manager for Electrical Control & Switchgear Equipment in the South Wales / South-West England Area.
Job Description: An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established organisation, supplying Electro-Mechanical switchgear and control gear into the Industrial and Commercial sector.
The ideal candidate will have strong Business to Business, technical sales experience selling industrial products through OEM’s, Contractors, Panel Builders, Consultants, Distributors and Specifiers.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter, with a strong desire to succeed and the ability to take this “young” territory and develop it to deliver and surpass targets within the next few years through hard work, initiative and excellent planning skills.
You will be able to analyse the current UK market, identify and seek new “quality” sales leads while maximising and managing existing accounts to ensure profitable order intake. You will have the ability to build strong partnerships with customers and distributor networks and manage them to ensure that every sales opportunity is maximised and capitalised on.
You will have a positive attitude, credible and confident with strong communication skills. Experience in this sector while not essential will be highly beneficial.
